What’s this all about?

The Fall Getaway is a great retreat for college students from campuses in Southern New England. It’s designed just for you! 

Here are some things to expect:  

  • An opportunity to hear from and listen to God.
  • An opportunity to talk to God.
  • A getaway from the pressures of school.
  • Great teaching from the Word of God.
  • Inspiring worship music
  • Connections with students from your campus.
  • Encouraging interactions with students from other campuses in New England
  • Free time to play games, hang out, go for a walk or study
  • Great food!
  • Beautiful scenery & foliage

Who is invited?

  • Anyone who wants to grow spiritually and deepen their walk with God.
  • No pre-requisites academically, spiritually, economically, socially, grammatically…you get the idea

How much $$ is this?

  • If you pre-register by Sept. 25th, then the cost is $99. Otherwise, it’s $109.
  • We never want a financial issue to stop anyone from participating in Fall Retreat. So, please let us know if you’d like to apply for a scholarhip and we’ll handle it on an individual basis.

What Should I bring?

  • A sleeping bag & pillow
  • Towel, toothpaste, shampoo etc.
  • Warm clothes for cool nights, cool clothes for warm days
  • Extra clothes for outdoor activities.
  • Gas money to help out your driver 
  • Money for dinner on Friday & lunch on Sunday.  (Saturday meals & Sunday breakfast provided!)
  • Your Bible & pen

 How do I get there?

  • Carpool! If you’re able to drive (i.e., you have a car or can borrow a friend’s car), then please let us know asap!
  • Depart Brown by 5:00pm. Registrations starts at 6:00pm. First gathering begins at 8:00pm.
  • Address: 574 Ashford Center Road, Ashford, CT 06278
    • Take Rte 6 West
    • Stay on Rte 6W by taking 295N and then Exit 6C.
    • Take a Right at the end of the ramp to continue on Rte 6W.
    • Continue on 6W for 9.5 miles.
    • Take a slight Right onto 101W.
    • Continue for 15 miles
    • Go straight onto Rte 44.
    • Continue until you cross over Rte. 89.
    • ECC will be 1.4 miles on the left directly after the “Welcome to Ashford” sign.
